Sound Reconstruction of The Comprehensive Theatre In Centro Cultural de Macau

The Centro Cultural de Macau covers 45000 m² and the theatre building has two arena: comprehensive theatre with 1114 seats that is suitable for the big show and the 393 seats of small theatre is suited to the small programs and movies. Two arena are both equipped with Simultaneous interpretation room and advanced sound&lighting equipment. The Centro Cultural de Macau not only offers an international performing arena for local people and the entertainers from all over the world, but also brings a rich cultural life for people in Macau. Because the perfectible sea, road, air traffic network, the Centro Cultural de Macau has become a perfect tourist place. According to the architectural acoustic characteristics of the theatre and in order to achieve first-rate sound reinforcement, the internationally renowned L-ACOUSTIC loudspeaker was finally selected. when designing sound field, EASE 4.1 and SOUNDDIVISION computer-aided software are adopted to the dual simulation to obtain accurate data. The fact proves that using this method the steady SPL and direct SPL both exceed the world standard.
