The National Center For The Performance Arts(China·NCPA) is located on the west side of the Great Hall of the People. It covers an area of 119,900 square meters and has a total construction area of 165,000 square meters, including 105,000 square meters of main buildings and 60,000 square meters of underground facilities. It has an opera house and a concert hall. Theatres and art exhibition halls, art exchange centers, audiovisual shops and other supporting facilities. As one of the highest art music halls in China, the NCPA has adopted the professional speaker system produced by L-acoustics and the SENNHEISER wireless microphone. The concert hall is white and solemn, with a quiet, fresh and elegant tone. It has a total of 2019 seats for playing large symphonies and folk music. It is regarded as the highest hall of music.
